At Florence Pediatric Dentistry, our goal is to creative a positive, fun environment where your child can experience dental care. We are focused on helping children and their families establish good habits for a lifetime of oral and overall health. We are dedicated to providing quality care based on the individual needs of each patient, and we are also committed to the prevention of dental disease through education and early treatment.
Dr. Kim Elvington is a native of Bennettsville, South Carolina and graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina in 1999. She obtained a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. Dr. Elvington then continued her training at MUSC, where she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and then a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry. In 2006, she moved back to the Pee Dee and began practicing dentistry locally. In August 2010, she and her husband Brice opened Florence Pediatric Dentistry together.
Dr. Elvington is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and also provides dental services for children at McLeod Regional Medical Center and Carolinas Hospital. She is an active member of the Junior League of Florence, Central United Methodist Church, and a board member of The Children’s Museum of the Pee Dee.
